IT Support Specialist
Job Purpose
The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing remote technical support to staff for a wide range of IT-related issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting computer hardware and software, excellent communication skills, and a customer-first approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities
Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, and video conference, providing technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software systems.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of technical issues, resolutions, and system changes.
Manage software upgrades and updates, ensuring compatibility with existing systems.
Train users on hardware and software usage and provide ongoing technical support as needed.
Research, record, and analyze data to effectively manage information flow and support business operations.
Additional Duties
Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT support, including hands-on experience with Windows and Mac operating systems.
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software applications, and networking concepts.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks and priorities.
Familiarity with remote support tools and troubleshooting techniques.
Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service.
Bilingual proficiency required: Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).

While performing the duties of this position, the employee will frequently move throughout the workplace, sit for extended periods, use a computer, and communicate verbally and in writing. The role requires the ability to read, write, concentrate, analyze information, reason logically, and perform basic calculations.
