Role: Specialty Lines Assistant

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Specialty Lines Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for new business auto, umbrella, inland marine, etc. quoting and creating proposals. You will focus on accurately processing quotes and preparing proposals, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently within established priority timelines. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. We are looking for a motivated individual eager to grow while managing tasks under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
• Task Management & Completion: Complete quoting, and proposal tasks within designated priority timelines • Collaboration: Work closely with in-office and offshore teams to ensure a seamless workflow.
• Attention to Detail: Double-check all quotes, proposals, and documents to ensure complete accuracy and prevent errors.
• Process Improvement: Actively identify and recommend process improvements to streamline workflows and reduce mistakes.
• Continuous Learning: Engage in professional development through reading, training, and participation in team meetings.

• Detail-Oriented: Must have a strong eye for detail, ensuring all tasks, quotes, and proposals are completed accurately without errors.
• Highly Organized: Able to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple projects at once.

• Strong Communicator: Must be comfortable and clear in communication with team members.

Qualifications:
• Prior experience in insurance or a related field is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in using tools like Salesforce, PL Rater, and Microsoft Suite tools is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting.
