Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
•    Reviewing open accounts for collection efforts.
•    Making outbound collection calls in a professional manner, while keeping and improving customer relations.
•    Resolving client-billing issues and rescues accounts receivable delinquency.
•    Applying great customer service in a timely manner.
•    Contacting all involved parties and documenting notes of all efforts.
•    Collect customer payments in accordance with payment due dates.
•    Identify issues attributing to account delinquency and discuss with management and leadership. 
•    Provide timely follow-ups on payment arrangements. 
•    Frequently contacting clients to resolve past-due Invoices and other billing issues. 
•    Tracking outreach activity and reporting progress on overall collections. 
•    Receive credit card payments and accurately enter into accounting software program. 
•    Create invoices as trained and assigned.
•    Create proposals as trained and assigned.
•    Assist with lab auditing as trained and assigned. 
•    Assist with creating departmental procedures and policies. 
•    Perform other duties, as assigned.

Required Experience and Skills: 

•    Minimum one year experience in accounting, preferred two or more years experience.
•    Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interface with employees and clientele. 
•    Exceptional organization and time management skills.
•    Work independently & adapt to a fast-changing environment. 
•    High attention to details, ability to take directions, self-check, and follow up on work.
•    Analytical and critical problem-solving skills,
•    Basic knowledge of MS Office Word and Excel, Sage Intacct or other accounting software.
•    Ability to apply discretion, trust with confidential company information.
