Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Flight Operations Dispatcher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and monitoring flight operations and related activities, ensuring the efficient execution of daily tasks. This includes working closely with internal teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure smooth flight operations, effective logistics, and real-time issue resolution. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a dispatcher role (not necessarily in aviation), be self-driven, organized, detail-oriented, and quick to adapt to changes. Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English are essential. This position is on-call, requiring flexibility and the ability to respond quickly to changing operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate flight operations, ensuring all activities related to flights are executed on time and efficiently.
- Communicate with teams, vendors, and partners to ensure smooth workflows and address operational needs in real time, particularly regarding flight schedules.
- Monitor and interpret data such as weather conditions, air traffic, and logistics, adjusting flight plans or schedules as necessary to avoid delays and disruptions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for team members and external partners, ensuring clear and accurate communication regarding flight operations.
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and operational policies, including safety and flight planning standards.
- Handle flight-related emergencies or unexpected changes with calm and effective decision-making.
- Maintain accurate records of flight operations, including logs, schedules, delays, cancellations, and any incidents that may occur.
- Adapt quickly to changes in flight operations and operational priorities, ensuring all adjustments are communicated effectively and efficiently.
- Provide on-call support during evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for flight operations.

Qualifications
- Experience: At least 1-3 years of experience as a dispatcher, operations coordinator, or in a similar role. Experience in flight operations or aviation is a plus, but not required.
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Aviation, Logistics, Operations Management) is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with computer systems and software for scheduling, communication, and data analysis related to flight operations.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
- Availability: Must be available for on-call shifts.
