Payroll Customer Service Representative
 

Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time, on-site Payroll Customer Service Representative to support our payroll and client service operations.
This role serves as a key point of contact for clients, helping employers navigate payroll processes, resolve issues efficiently, and ensure accurate and timely payroll support. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with numbers, and enjoys solving problems while building strong client relationships.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for client payroll and benefits-related inquiries via phone and email
  • Assist employers with payroll processing support, troubleshooting issues, and providing general payroll guidance
  • Support accurate and timely payroll operations by identifying and resolving discrepancies
  • Generate and assist with payroll reporting, including customized client requests
  • Assist with onboarding new payroll clients, ensuring smooth implementations and transitions
  • Maintain ongoing account updates including employee changes, deductions, payroll adjustments, and system updates
  • Support ACA reporting and compliance processes, including information collection and validation for filings (1094/1095)
  • Document client requests, resolutions, and follow-up actions accurately within internal systems
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent service delivery and client satisfaction
  • Conduct outbound client outreach to schedule service reviews and payroll evaluations

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mentality
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Experience in payroll, HR, or benefits administration preferred
  • Familiarity with payroll implementations or client onboarding a plus
  • Knowledge of ACA compliance and reporting is a plus
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
