We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Legal Assistant to provide administrative and legal support to our team of attorneys. The ideal candidate will manage legal documentation, coordinate schedules, and assist in client communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Legal Documentation: Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and correspondence.
  • Research: Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for case preparation.
  • Filing: File documents with courts and administrative agencies, adhering to deadlines and procedural requirements.
  • Client Communication: Serve as a point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries and scheduling appointments.
  • Case Management: Maintain organized case files, track deadlines, and monitor the status of cases.
  • Administrative Support: Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements.
  • Data Management: Input and manage client and case information in legal management software.
  • Team Collaboration: Assist attorneys with trial preparation, hearings, and closings as needed.

Qualifications
  • Real estate or lending/banking experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Previous experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency with legal software, Microsoft Office Suite, and e-filing systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
