Sales Assistant
As a Sales Assistant at our esteemed Professional Employer Organization (PEO), you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team to drive business growth and meet organizational objectives. You will be responsible for assisting in various sales activities, including lead generation, lead distribution, client communication, proposal generation, underwriting submissions, administrative tasks, and ensuring seamless coordination within the sales department. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in sales within the dynamic and evolving field of HR solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing customer inquiries, scheduling meetings, and providing basic information about company services.
Support the collection of required documentation for proposals and use internal software to prepare and create proposals for the sales team.
Prepare and submit all required documentation for new prospects to underwriting for both benefits and workers’ compensation.
Collaborate with the sales team to create, update, and maintain sales materials, presentations, and proposals.
Handle administrative tasks, including maintaining sales records, managing databases, and generating reports.
Update and maintain the CRM system with accurate and current information on opportunities, client interactions, and prospects.
Communicate regularly with the sales team to ensure data accuracy and timely updates.
Coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for the sales team.
Assign incoming prospects to sales representatives based on employee count, referral source, and other criteria.
