Position Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Salesforce Administrator / Engineer to lead and support our enterprise-wide use of Salesforce. This individual will be responsible for the design, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Salesforce as our CRM, workflow engine, campaign management platform, and operational system. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, technical expertise, and strong business process acumen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary Salesforce expert, responsible for system configuration, administration, and day-to-day support.
  • Drive, design, implement, and maintain scalable solutions in Salesforce for CRM, workflows, campaign management, and internal operations.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Lead technical architecture discussions, balancing custom development and third-party tools.
  • Develop and enforce standards for data governance, access controls (profiles, permission sets), integration, and user experience across the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Build and maintain flows, approval processes, validation rules, and custom objects as needed.
  • Own and configure core Salesforce objects, external integrations, and managed packages (e.g. ZoomInfo)
  • Monitor platform performance, evaluate platform release notes, test, and prepare for major releases and new features, conduct health checks, and manage security and compliance reviews.
  • Evaluate new platform features and adjacent technologies to improve system capabilities.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards to drive business decision-making.
  • Oversee and improve campaign automation and email journey execution (Account Engagement)
  • Provide clear communication and documentation of system changes, architecture decisions, and integrations.
  • Support integrations with other platforms (e.g., PrismHR, Intacct, Bullhorn, marketing automation tools, etc).
  • Work with developers and other IT staff to support API and middleware-based integrations.
  • Monitor system performance and conduct regular system audits and upgrades.
  • Train users and develop documentation for internal Salesforce processes and best practices.

Required Qualifications
  • 4–8 years of hands-on Salesforce administration or engineering experience in a cross-functional environment.
  • Strong knowledge of business development, sales, and marketing processes.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce core objects, automation (Flows, Process Builder), and declarative tools.
  • Experience using Salesforce for CRM, marketing campaign management, and operational workflows.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce data architecture, security models, and deployment practices.
  • Experience with Sales, Marketing, Experience, and Service Clouds.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification (Advanced Admin or Platform App Builder a plus).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations (e.g., REST APIs, middleware tools like MuleSoft).
  • Exposure to Salesforce development (Apex, Lightning Components) is a plus but not required.
  • Experience in the PEO, staffing, or HR services industries is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with Sisense, Intacct, Kronos, and/or PrismHR integrations highly desirable.
