Job Description
We are seeking a Tax Associate with 3+ years of technical tax accounting experience. We are looking for self-motivated professionals who are eager to embrace this challenging career opportunity and work in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities include:

Accounting and Tax Compliance Preparation: Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports.
Reconciliation of Bank and Company Accounts
Reviewing Clients’ Financial Statements
Preparation of Outsourced Bookkeeping for Clients
Preparing Sales Tax Returns for Clients
Preparing Payrolls for Clients
Tax Compliance Review: Demonstrates technical proficiency in tax preparation/review and assembly of related documentation.
Tax Technical Research: Assist other firm employees with tax research.
Direct Interaction with Partners
Management of Some Client Accounts
Direct Client Contact: Demonstrates the ability to develop strong relationships with clients and exceed their expectations.

Requirements include:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Tax.
CPA or EA preferred. If not currently licensed, must be actively working towards CPA or EA.
3+ years of prior work experience in public accounting, with exposure to individual, corporation, and partnership taxation in the USA (mandatory).
Knowledge of QuickBooks is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Proven track record of solving practical problems.
Strong technical skills in tax accounting and compliance.
Proven ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure, and perform in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Must be a team player.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
