1. Data Entry:
- Input financial transactions into accounting software or spreadsheets.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
- Process and verify invoices for payment.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
- Prepare and issue checks or electronic payments.
- Maintain vendor files and respond to inquiries.
- Generate and send out invoices.
- Monitor customer accounts for timely payments.
- Record and reconcile cash receipts.
- Follow up on overdue payments and handle collections.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
- Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts.
- Post adjusting journal entries as needed.
- Reconcile bank statements with the general ledger.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Assist in processing payroll and related transactions.
- Verify timekeeping records and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare documents and schedules for internal and external audits.
- Assist auditors with inquiries and provide necessary information.

- Assist in answering phone calls
- Ensure that all client e-mails are responded to on time
- Contribute to team effort by completing additional tasks/responsibilities, as needed
- Maintain client, employee, and organizational confidentiality
- Other duties to ensure the overall health and success of the business.
