We are looking for a Full Stack Senior Developer with a strong background in Java and AngularJS to take an existing long term project and implement new features and eventually transition to a more modern tech stack.
Note: we are specifically looking for experience in AngularJS (the original version < 1.8.3), not the newer Angular (version 2 – 19.2).

We are looking for a Full Stack Senior Developer with a strong background in Java and AngularJS to take an existing long term project and implement new features and eventually transition to a more modern tech stack.

Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing applications using technologies including: Java 17+, AngularJS , JQuery, Bootstrap, JavaScript, J2EE, ORMs, Eclipselink, Maven, JAX-RS, IOC, DI, Rest Web Services, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, WildFly, NPN, Bower, MS SQL Server
- Research and prototype complex design solutions
- Develop and implement UIs and APIs for modern web applications
- Build reusable components and front-end libraries
- Develop well-structured, well-documented code
- Participate in code and design reviews
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Must have experience in:
- Working with Multi-tier/layered Architectures
- Implementing CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment)
- Understanding and working with IoC and DI design principles
- Must have worked with SSO providers and authentication frameworks such as OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect (OIDC),and/or Okta
Bonus experience:
- Working with clients to understand their needs, gathers requirements through questioning and analysis, and then translate those needs into actionable plans and solutions
- Migrating large monolithic projects to micro services
- Experience in Insurance (Health) industry
English proficiency:
- Must have strong English reading/writing skills and ability to understand complex requirements (written in English).
- The ability to speak good English is not required. Client and internal team can speak spanish. But they must be able to comunicate in writing in english.
