Tasks:Manage and oversee accounting functions for a diversified clientele.
Manage client relationships, oversee project delivery, and ensure the successful execution of accounting services. You will collaborate with the partners and play a pivotal role in maintaining high-quality standards. The candidate must possess excellent communication abilities and a deep understanding of
U.S. accounting principles.
Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Client Management: Function as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns, and ensuring satisfaction with our services.
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including data entry, bank, and credit card reconciliation, manage and maintain accounts receivables, accounts payable and bill payment, reconcile payroll to payroll forms, reconcile loans, manage and maintain prepaids, accruals, and attorney’s trust accounts.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Conduct month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Preparation of year-end workpapers in preparation for income tax reporting.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges in client engagements and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Stay abreast of changes in accounting regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance.
- Quality Assurance Implement and uphold quality control measures to maintain the highest standards in service delivery.
- Conduct periodic reviews of project outcomes to ensure accuracy and client satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- 6+ of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis. Proficient in MS Office, QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online
- Language: English and Spanish
