Job Title: Agent Concierge

Job Description:

The primary responsibility of the Agent Concierge is to coordinate the new and renewal business processing. This role involves resolving sales representative and agent inquiries and requests regarding products and services. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a working knowledge of carrier programs, underwriting, processing guidelines, and procedures.
  • Review new and renewal group submissions for carrier/TPA installation, generate employee distribution materials, follow up with carrier/TPA implementation teams, and advise agents and staff of case status.
  • Coordinate carrier/TPA portal training sessions for appropriate parties as needed.
  • Communicate clearly with agents and the Sales team during initial enrollment and technology implementation, addressing any issues or challenges that arise.
  • Manage the carrier agent licensing process, including sending appointment forms and instructions, scrubbing documents for completion, submitting new agent appointments, and following up on E&O.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all company and carrier processing guidelines and procedures, including rates.
  • Maintain the Agency CRM database with agent and group information.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to agents and other company support positions via verbal and written correspondence.
  • Establish and develop working relationships with agency producers and users to obtain necessary information.
  • Provide group meeting support for new and renewal groups, either onsite or virtually.
  • Provide sales support to the company’s internal sales executives as needed.
  • Maintain the integrity of the company and products offered by complying with federal and state regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Perform billing tasks and handle new hire/term reports.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of work experience with a major medical insurance company and/or ancillary benefits, specifically health care benefits, or related work experience.

Education Requirements:

  • Four-year degree preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to speak, read, and write in fluent English and Spanish.
  • Knowledge of related insurance practices and product knowledge.
  • General computer skills, strong mathematical skills, and reasoning abilities.
  • Must excel in attention to detail, thoroughness, organization, analyzing information, and vendor relationships.
  • US Visa preferred.
