Job Description
Position Title: Benefits Analyst
Position Purpose:
Provides customized PEO and ASO accounting services to assigned clients and supports daily accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile all client benefit invoices on a monthly basis and collaborate with the Benefits Department to resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with quarterly benefit accrual reconciliations to identify and resolve accounting irregularities and system errors.
- Perform weekly 401(k) file remittances and reconciliations for all client plans, including support for annual audit requests.
- Complete month-end close tasks as assigned by the Controller, including bank reconciliations, 401(k) reconciliations, recording monthly sweep transactions, fees, and benefit adjustments.
- Download monthly bank statements and prepare reconciliation support documentation.
- Update employee pay rates and address changes with insurance carriers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting or a similar role; public accounting experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of standard accounting processes and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- English skills required.

Work Environment:
General office environment with quiet surroundings and adequate lighting.
